Our plant is still growing. But how is it growing. The plant is increasing its biomass through mitosis is a type of cell division that results in two daughter cells. Mitosis in a plant is when a eukayotic cell separates the chromosome in its nucleus into two daughter nuclei. Then the cytokinesis comes in and divides the cytoplasm, organelles, nuclei, and the cell membrane into two daughter cells.
